Madden 23 is a popular sports video game based around the National Football League. It is the ultimate video game for football or rugby fans from all around the world. A vast majority of the human population may not be able to play in the NFL, but they can certainly get a glimpse of what that’s like through Madden 23.

The last few entries to this sports game series have received slightly unfavorable responses. Despite this, many die-hard fans still play the game on a regular basis. This can be easily attributed to how rewarding the game can be if you truly are a football fan. Not only that, but the game also allows you to play with other football fans online.

The game is currently out on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and Windows. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t allow these consoles to match with one another.

Madden 23’s Missing Cross-Platform Feature

Madden 23 does not support cross-platform play. Players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC can only match with others on the same platform. The game also lacks cross-generation play, preventing Xbox One and Xbox Series X users from playing together. EA may add cross-platform support in future Madden titles, but Madden 23 is unlikely to receive this feature.

Will Madden 23 Have Cross-Platform In the Future?

If fans demand the feature enough, EA may listen and implement it in the future. However, it’s better to assume otherwise.

Madden is a sports video game. Like many other sports titles, Madden gets a yearly release. EA may already be working on the next Madden title. If a Madden game does receive a cross-platform feature, it’s likely it won’t be Madden 23. It will be the next Madden game.
